Normandy Battlefield Tour
Normandy. On June 6, 1944, D-Day ā also known under the code name Operation Overlord ā began here. The Western invasion by the Allied armies that would lead to the liberation of Europe.
On this journey, we follow the route taken by the Allies in the early days of one of the greatest battles in history. These intense first days have left many traces in the Normandy landscape.
We will take you to various museums, cemeteries, bunkers, monuments, and the invasion beaches will not be missing in our program. Accompanied by an expert Dutch-speaking guide, we want to take you to the known and unknown places of Operation Overlord in order to paint a good picture of this important turning point in European history. The turning point to VE-day, Victory in Europe.
